    Kellerman is an american rednexk in the mould of "boxing4real" on youtube.

    An embarrasment for the US as he makes american fans look dumb - and the unfortunate ones that actually believe his nationalistic bs will sound dumb as well.

    I would want to get rid of him if I was American.

    US TV has good potential as shown by CNN etc. but HBO is not doing itself any favors by airing red neck bull **** like what comes out of Max' mouth most of the time.

    I've sent my email stating that unless Kellerman is either removed or offers a full apology on a subsequent programme that I shall no longer watch boxing on HBO.

    Of course, I don't watch boxing on HBO anyway!!

    See my previous post. Al Bernstein, Teddy Atlas, Sean O'Grady, even the Colonel from England's broadcasts is a better choice IMO.

    Because he's INCOMPETENT. He has literally NO qualifications to hold the jobs he's held, he got them ONLY because of CONNECTIONS.

    Never was a boxing journalist, never was a participant in pro boxing - like ANY other commentator you could name!

    ALL he ever did before Daddy got him his job at ESPN was have some rinky-dink cable access show in NY. That's IT.:patsch

    Someone post this thread on every boxing forum. After HBO receives enough emails asking to take Kellerman on and keepr merchant, maybe they might get a hint.

    Okay, this is going to sound crazy. How about Mike Tyson instead of Kellerman. He knows boxing history. He has boxed. He has been a world champion. He has a sense of humor. He appreciates what boxers go through. He may prefer the wacky weed over the cheap scotch, but give him time. The man shows promise.

    I would love that but Merchant and HBO would never allow that. There is a long history after the Buster Douglas fight with Tyson and HBO.
