Mayweather wanted out of his promotional agreement so he told Arum that if he was to stay and not take the 750k buyout he wanted a guarantee, FROM Arum, that he'd get 10 for Hatton, 20 for DLH and 10 for Cotto. Arum told him the money wasn't there and he wasn't interested in a DLH fight anyways, so Mayweather took off.

How is it unrealistic when Floyd made over $20 million against Oscar? How is it unrealistic when Floyd made over $10 million against Hatton? Obviously Bob Arum underestimated Floyd's worth and drawing power. Now he is angry that he missed out on millions and will say anything to get Floyd into a fight contract so he can make money. Show me where Mayweather got 20 for DLH. Show me it. Until I see it I don't believe it. And Arum offered Mayweather initially 5. Mayweather balked so Arum upped it to 8. He knew Tony would stomp a mudhole in his ass. He knew Mayweather was looking to break away from contract and Arum was just sick of him. So he was gonna feed him to Tony but little Floyd got cold feet.

I really doubt those numbers. But even if they were true, don't you think it's a little unrealistic, for a promoter who is already offering 4 times your previous purse, to begin offering 10 times your previous purse? Look at it this way... if Mayweather made $20 million for Wrestlemania, you don't think he made $20 million fighting Oscar? You realize they sold over 2 million PPV's right? You realize Floyd got a cut of the PPV right? Do the math. 2 million buys+ X $55 = $110+ million dollars. It's safe to assume Floyd got over $20 million. He may have got close to $30 million to be honest after everything was tallied.
