I love to see the other sides to the fighters! I think Mayweathers situation is so so sad too, there both highly competitive guys who no matter what they say really love each other, I've seen relationships like this and it's uncomfortable and sad but hey everybodys different! Ortiz has a compelling story and this 24/7 will make him a household name in the US! There will be millions who can relate to him, he also brings a huge Hispanic following which is one of the main reasons he got the fight, (PPV sales) Hispanics do more PPV in boxing than anyone else ;-)

I hope this fight takes off now I really do! No matter what people think about Mayweather there Is no denying that he is without doubt the biggest draw in boxing and IMHO the best P4P fighter in the world...

That was not staged, OK both like to play up for the camera's but that escalated into a for me a sad & distressing confrontation. I'am not a floyd fan as such but for me i felt for him. I'am almost sure not so deep down he'd just wish for his father to just shut the **** up & give him some respect for being the grown man he is & a man & champion in his own right & not having to be reminded every second of the day in public that it's all down to his daddy who allegedly did this for him & that for him & it's all down to his daddy that he's the champ blah blah ****in blah. From a personal perspective i find Floyd Sr to be a wretched individual, a throwback SuperFly/Shaft ghetto hustler straight our of the 70's movie's, he's a lock for any part offered where the black drug dealer gets gunned down in some harlem tenement block.

I saw a side of floyd there that i've never seen & that was a ferocious sub-concious self dicipline that came to the fore & pulled himself back from the brink. You can see he is/wants & will be master of his own destiny & he'll not be dictated too by/for anything or anyone. Again IMO that was not staged, they may say it was later on. But i think floyd jr is sick to death of his father treating him as if he's just a 2nd rate version of his old man. Floyd Sr should really just go & ****in die as he serves absolutly no purpose except to vent spleen & bile at all & any who will here or listen. He ai'nt got a good word to say about anyone except himself. Just look at the way he's insulted Fredie Roach at every turn or opportunity.

Least we all forget that it was out of the mouth of this hustler that the lunatic ped allegations came from regarding Pacquiao after he beat Cotto, the man is an absolute waste of space & a menace who's tortured by hate for all who have surpassed him in all aspects of the sport & his own flesh & blood makes for the most simple of soft targets for his petty attention seeking jealousy's & the only thing he's ever done for his son is too help him become a very upset split personality'd & somewhat insular disfuctional individual in public.

First of all, in my opinion you should never speak to your father like that, end of.

But is it just me or does anybody else think that Floyd Snr is the cause of it all? Plenty of fighter's have fell out with him/got rid of him, and it seem's like he's wanting to claim all the reward for Floyd Jnr's success even though Floyd and Roger are responsible for that success, fair enough Floyd Snr started Jnr off, but Roger and Jnr made him into what he is today.

Saying all this, i doubt it'll have any effect on Floyd Jnr come fight night

Floys Sr did create Floyd Jr and he taught Roger as well. He genuinely was the innovator of the Mayweather style of fighting
