    I think the fight makes sense
    Lara has only a few fights but has shown good talent
    Chavez jr is very hyped but hasnt fight anybody yet(and has some controversial decisions)
    the loser keeps trying
    the winner gets the hype.:bbb

    Chavez Jr. may have been be very hyped, but then Erislandy Lara is much more hyped. Chavez Jr.'s level of opposition has been incomparably better and abundant. Lara hasn't fought nobody until now. It is easy to shine against weak people(or against lightweights). Too early this fight for Lara, and the fight is not going to materialize soon as he probably doesn't bring much to the table ...

    Lara is simply too much of a boxer, too much power, he is a southpaw and has incredible accuracy plus tons of amateur experience back in Cuba plus he is World Amateur Champion. Lara would stop him silly in less than 3 rounds. :good

    Lara will stop Chavez Jr in the 1st round and make him look like a Canned Tomato fighter

    Chavez Jr is name only, but he really is soft.

    are you guys serious....right now ???

    the way you guys talk about chavez jr you would think he was a bum with one hand...the kid has improved so much, and it seems like he gets more haters....it aint his fault he was born with that last name, at least give him a chance.....
