He could beat Canelo and will still lose. He won't get the decision on the scorecards.

Lara fits the usual ESB Criteria for a good over-hyping, avoided so therefore he suddenly becomes a world beater.

I actually like Lara but hes beatable, something many on here will have you believe he isnt, if you cant actually see that avoided fighters are over-hyped on ESB then you have to start opening your eyes.

On a side note WTF does he being Cuban have to do with it ? Im Scottish i couldnt give a **** about the petty stuff that goes on in the General regarding a fighters nationality.

I've always liked Lara in this match up. He has the size and style to give Canelo fits.

Holy **** Quincy k, after canelo beat trouts ass you have completely went full ******.

Sad. Sad prediction. Lara would not outland canelo. Unless it's just pure ****ing pity pat jabs. And trout has a high output while lara has the worst and lowest output of all jrmw.

Erislandy Lara = Guillermo Rigondeaux with more offense ( less power than Rigo though )

If anyone in that fight has questionable stamina it is definitely Lara.

Lara aint going to beat Canelo. Too much power and too good of a body attack for Lara to let loose. Sure Lara will land some good counters but they will be few and far in between and if Canelo does not stop him Lara and his fans will cry robbery like always.

Canelo by late round stoppage or UD.

All roads lad to Canelo for a reason.

He hates Canelo with a passion.

People havent brought up how Canelo was able to KD Trout who had never been down in his professional career. Lara has shaky whiskers from what I have seen and fighting a guy like Canelo that is just a KD festival waiting to happen.

Are you ****ing kidding me, Rigo schooled a P4P ranked fighter and made it look easy. Lara ran and resorted to dirty tactics against Vanes and only came out with a draw.

If Canelo fixes his stamina issues he has a very good chance of beating Lara, probably even get a KD.

Why is everyone acting like Lara is the man in the division!?!?

Who has he beaten? Every time he steps up he either under performs or gets lucky with a gift draw.

You can tell Canelo is going to be huge by this. People just trying to find someone to beat him and make them feel better. First it was Trout and after Canelo decisively beats him it is now Lara.

I can't believe I'm seeing people predicting Lara outlanding Alvarez. Saul's workrate is like Calzaghe's compared to how much leather Erislandy throws.

He stepped on Trout's foot as he landed. That's why Trout's leg did that little jig. He didn't come close to stopping Trout and was being backed up and outlanded in that round 2-1
