I would pick thurman. I think you understimate his IQ. Today, thurman by UD. In a couple of years maybe things will change.

Thurman is good but he hasn't taken that next level step yet, his fights with Porter and Garcia were close and he should have rematched 1 of them by now.

Spence by late stoppage. He takes punishment from One Time, but rallies to break him down and ultimately finish him.

I have inside info on Thurman. He will retire soon...but will go out on his shield. He did great for himself and stuck to his boxing which is why he went far. A guy with (overrated) power and got hyped on it could easily have turned into a slugger and failed.

 

Going with thurman probably ud, but hoping for ko, i remember watching him drop a guy who was easily 30lbs bigger than him in sparring with a body shot, the whole gym was silent and felt embarrassed for the guy, that was maybe 6 years ago

 

Thurman is good but Thurman's weakness is pressure educated pressure like what Spence will bring. Spence will cut the ring off on runtime breaking him down to the body slowing his movement and get the better of him in the exchanges. Thus stopping runtime in 10 rounds or less from a vicious body attack seldom seen in the sport today.

 

Yep Porter ran Thurman close, lot of people even had him winning. Spence will bring what Porter did but with higher intensity and much more power.
