Spence looking a bit like Eazy-E there.

I've got no dog in this race. Just hoping for a good scrap, fireworks from the off from both fighters rather than a slow start chess match.

    I'm leaning towards Crawford here.

Looks like I'll be doing another all nighter this weekend for the live fight. :beer-toast1:

Just curious, how many times have these guys been knocked down in their careers?

I'm the same Arch. When Crawford moved up to Welter I favoured Spence with his size, output and determination.
Spence then had the car crash and Bud settled at Welter with relative ease.
Both are elite I just see Crawford being more versitile style wise and having a fraction more dog in him, he's a fraction more clinical.
Like you I want the best man on the night to win, I've been looking forward to the fight all week.
Hopefully we don't get some BS decision..

You might be wrong again mate. I've got Bud by decisions. However, this fight is too close to call so both of our predictions can be wrong.

    Bud via a S/D.

Cannot wait to view this tomorrow morning. For once, a PPV that is worthy of its title.

Spence by a narrow margin, I’m so pumped for this fight…

Some food for thought regarding the fight ending inside the distance.

Spence is chinny. I've said it all along and I've never liked the way he reacts to punches and we've seen him hurt numerous times against light-average punchers, a number of whom were career 140s who came up.

But neither of them have fought many punchers at all let alone ones their size or KO artists and Crawford's whiskers are suspect too.

Who are the punchers they've fought?

    Crawford

    Burns
    Postol
    Klimov
    Jean
    Lundy
    Diaz
    Beltran
    Indongo
    Porter
    Dulorme
    Horn
    Khan
    Benavidez
    Molina
    Gamboa
    Brook
    Avanesyan
    Egis

Most of those are featherfists or average punchers at best. There's a couple of pretty good punchers there but very few legit bangers, especially his size and he's often been the bigger man

I'd say Egis is the hardest puncher his size he's ever fought and he was hurt and dropped by him

    Now Spence

    Algieri
    Peterson
    Bundu
    Lo Greco
    Van Heerden
    Ocampo
    Vargas
    Porter
    Danny
    Mikey
    Ugas
    Brook

That's terrible. Algieri, Peterson, Bundu, Lo Greco, Vargas, and Ocampo are featherfists and Porter and Ugas aren't punchers either.

And then you have to factor in all but 2 of the champs Spence has fought were career 140 pounders who came up or pudgy 135 Mikey who has zero right being up at 147, let alone against a naturally huge 147 like Spence.

Mikey is a legit puncher but not at 147. His KO% above 135 = 0

Danny can crack a bit but he's come up from 140 and his KO% at 147 is very low too

I'd say Brook is the hardest puncher his size Spence has ever fought

Don't worry about power. Power alone isn't winning this fight.

Counter punches, durability, stamina and footwork are winning this fight. Crawford being the guy who needs to use his feet to box around Spence and at times go to him.

With a bit of luck, if the fight tees off at a good pace we may even see a stoppage, Exo. ( Hope it's not a slow start like the Crawford/Brook fight)

Both have great chins but Crawford can potentially stop anyone.

It's definitely a pick-em fight for me come tonight. And like you, on paper, as of right now, I'm giving the edge to Crawford. But I won't be having a punt on it.

Looking forward to a good night of action, mate. Fingers crossed. ;)

It may look like Bowe vs Holyfield with Spence assuming the role of Riddick. Crawford will come on in the later rounds but it will be too late to count on the cards. Spence UD. don't really care who wins either , just want to watch it.
