I a basing this a little on the fact that I think Brook is being held back and Woods is going to get beat by Cloud.... but in regards to Jamie Moore I reckon last opponent was about the same standard as Wood's last opponent overall in skill.

What about Hide though, he will be fighting for a world title next I think?

Hide has been beating up on bums the last couple of years, although if he does win the world title (not sure if the fight has been made yet though) then I am sure he will get into the top 10.

Based on your own P4P list, I know how highly you think of Brook

Brooke isn't being held back. He's progressing nicely and isn't being rushed nor held back.

The Jennings fight is a very good fight for him at this stage of his career. In fact at both stages of there careers. Brookes coming up from dominating British level and Jennings is coming down from being dominated at world level

I think Brook has been held back.

He is 18-0 and has faced.... well.... nothing.

The Jennings fight is a must - as he readily admits, if he wants to be considered the best welterweight in Britain.

If he is successful, then he should move up to Euro level (no point hanging around) and look to do the bizzo there, or get a slot on a card in the US.

gethin, Mcintrye and Lomax were all decent opponents for someone on a British Level.

No he's taking another step up and will do again once (or if) he beats jennings

    Gethin was average.

McIntyre was a decent win - his best to date.

    Lomax isn't that good.

Jennings is a decent EBU level fighter, so credit to him for taking this step rather than feasting on some sub-standard fodder at domestic level.

    OK-ish, yeah.

I'd still like to see him take on an iron chinned trial horse, that is decent..... not the sort you get at top end domestic level. You generally have to search far and wide for those - like a lower level Glen Johnson, if that isn't being unkind.

He has won his last nine I think by TKO, but he hardly looks the second coming of Felix Trinidad that a lot of people are pumping him as.

I like him, it's time us Yorkies had a bit of success in boxing now that Carl Johanneson prefers the bright lights of Leeds city centre to the ring, Witter has had his day, and who knows how Clinton will go against Cloud?

You Mancs have had it over us in boxing (and football) for far too long. I'm just glad you haven't won the County Championship since 1934

    Ha Ha

To be fair mate, apart from Liverpool for obvious reasons and City for the same. There's no-one I love getting on over on than you yorkshiremen :)

I actually want Man Utd to whoop City something bad.

And everyone else, for that matter.

For all I hate Man Utd, at least they conduct themselves (generally) in a fair and proper manner, with dignity.

Let's face it, if they were shite, as Leeds are, nobody would really care and would quite like them.

Yeah, that is true actually. I kind of forgot he is fighting jennings next. Good fight too. When is it taking place though?

Yeah I know. I know a lot gets made out of Fergie but I genuinely dont think he's as bad as people make out (Well of course I dont I think he's a legend) But what I mean is that I think opposing managers try and put this 'he controls the refs' rubbish out there to try and sway the refs mind themselves. All they do use a bit of reverse psychology by saying it in the hope the ref will try and over compensate as to prove he doesn't.

Plus United never really had all this take over business the way Chelsea, City, Pompey, West Ham etc etc did. Uniteds take over was venimately opposed to and it hasn't stood us in better stead the way it has other teams. We were far better off without the Glaziers and wasn't in debt. We've just sold a player for £80 million and spent virtually none of it. We aren't as shrewd as Arsenal by no means but then again who is ?

Don't talk to me about £80m and spending.

    It is a sore point.

We had a potentially title winning side, and spent £80m making it worse :patsch
