Cheers TFFP :good Everyone is working hard at making sure everything is in order and the P4P lists were very good overall, where a fighter was not overlooked just because of their safety first style in the ring (I ain't naming names :yep) and favouritism was rare in the lists, for example a Brit fighter is not in the rankings.
Kos, Sergey Gulyakevich (no.6 at SFW) lost this weekend to unranked Mexican Humberto Mauro Gutierrez. Interim WBC title was on the line. Raul Garcia (minimumweight no.2) successfully defended his IBF title on the same card.
Changes made: Juergen Braehmer not ranked at light-heavy - just behind Woods; Stieglitz replaces Balzsay at super-middleweight going in at 8th; Daniel Jacobs into 10th - I feel he deserves the place (Golovkin who is 9th has a very similar record), Zbik out; Deandre Latimore not ranked - opponent was a journeyman; Diaz into 8th at Light-Welter; Malignaggi down to 10th at Light-Welter - Kotelnik falls out; Antonio DeMarco enters the lightweight rankings due to a place being vacated by Diaz; Humberto Gutierrez enters the rankings at 8th at Super-Feather - Nicky Cook falls out; Sergey Gulyakevich down to 10th at Super-Feather; Guerrero upto 3rd at Super-Feather; Klassen down to 4th at Super-Feather; Raul Garcia stays 2nd at Minimumweight. Biggest update so far! Any suggestions/disagreements just say :good
Good Harsh. The other problem with this is that Khan is ranked at 6 for beating a guy that now isn't even top 10 worthy...hmm. Besides, Lamont Peterson above him? Good
It certainly has been a fall from grace for Kotelnik - I think he was about 3rd/4th before the Khan fight - same thing happened to Witter, he just completely went off the rankings. I would agree with dropping Peterson, bumping everyone up and putting Kotelnik in at 10, just depends if others agree :think
I'm glad someone else has realised this. Peterson does not deserve to be above Kotelnik, IMO. I am repeating myself from one page back:roll:. The rest of the new changes are spot on, though:good.
A high debut i think 9th would have been appropriat but does he deserve it more than Cook or the other guy (i cant be arsed checking) Thats unfair i think we need 5 people to agree to a decision and i disagree
You mean you want 5 people to agree with EVERY change then? :blood Because that is what it will come down to IMO. As a case for this arguement, state what Golovkin has done to be in the rankings, and why Jacobs shouldn't be - apart from the fact he is a 'name'.
