fair play but as soon as he beats Marquez he at least goes top 3.

just top point out, The last time Mayweather outweighed someone on the night of the fight was November 2001.....

I agree with this but would have Ramirez ahead of Huck until they fight. Whoever wins goes 2nd.

Tarver should replace Braemer in 8th, and Woods should go in at 10th.

Bika should move to number 10.
Ward ahead of Dirrel as Miranda is a better win that any of Dirrels.

two very wide points decisions. maybe he could make number 10 at best, moving shumenov etc 1 place down each

:goodIf and when he wins, PBF will move up.

If someone else agrees, I am happy to move them around. Apart from that, are we happy with the list?

Woods in at 6 and Tarver in at 5, IMO, with the others dropping down- they've both lost recently (Tarver to the top guy in the division) but should still be around the top of the rankings as they'd beat others below them, IMO. Diaconu above Brahmer as well. I reckon the champ should be vacant as well:good.

Sakio Bika lost a lopsided decision to Lucian Bute. Andrade had a closish fight and almost knocked him out, so Andrade should at least be ahead of Bika.

btw unless someone gets schooled or ktfo in the first few rounds of the tournement, they shouldnt drop out.

Right, Rob, if you make your adjustment on the above list and there's agreement, we'll change it:good. You happy with leaving the champ vacant as well?

i have a different method of ranking - i just go off recent achievements rather than taking into account who i think would beat who h2h. woods possibly could make the top 15, but not as high as 6 imo

beating Murqui is better than most of that list has done recently.

Yes but if we were to do that across the board then the likes of Hatton and JT wouldn't be ranked. A recent loss against a good fighter isn't the be all and end all. It's a difficult one, though, as I see where you are coming from as well. I love this thread- we've got some good debate kicking around here.:good
