Yeah but I'm pissy. You can't argue, though, no knee jerk reactions- Bradley should now be 2nd and close to 1st but still not at 1. His Witter and Holt victories have been close as well- and lets not forget his butt to win the Campbell fight.
Bradley should definitely be second only to Pacquiao, there is even a case he could be first. That's 3 really solid names on his resume at 140lbs recently. If anybody thinks Hatton beats him they are barking mad, completely insane infact. I championed Tim's case over Hatton even prior to Pac whooping that ass.
For the sake of clarity, I said this before I saw rooq's list. Then again everyone acts all pissy and overly pedantic at times.
sounds ok. maybe dropping witter out completely is harsh, but i'm feelin a little :fire anyway, witter will drop out of the top ten soon enough as i can't see him competing at this level again.
Nah, I didn't read your post. That being the case though...:hey I had my doubts from the first time I saw this dude, that Hatton could beat him. Before Hatton had lost the plot. He looks like a tank, I don't think rough-housing gets anything done. I don't see Hatton getting the kind of competitive edge from physicality he usually enjoys at 140lbs. And well...on the outside Bradley has an advantage in a pretty big way. Basically, if you've got a guy as strong as Hatton (not many at this weight) and reasonably skilled with it, there is no way he is getting anything other than a close fight - at very very best. That proved to be true against Collazo too, the bigger guy could live with him up close and did his thing away from the clinch. That's how this fight would pan out, and with Bradley's extra youth I think he'd also hold up to the pace better.
the new list is spot on, although i think that bradley vs campbell might be an ND. Bradley looked on his way to a stoppage anyway. I would drop Witter out once a contender picks up a decent win.
No 8 ranked Isaac Hlatshwayo beat No 10 ranked10 Delvin Rodriguez via SD to pick up the vacant IBF title last night. I would put Hlatswayo up to 6th and place Carlos Quintana into 10th place.
How do you think he'd fair against Witter, though? If the consensus says Bradley at 1 then I just have to deal with it, no matter how much I can't stand himatsch. I dread what kind of threads will be on the general now: 'Bradley... the second coming of Christ?'
