It would be at least a 10 pound advantage for Broner come fight time, plus he never had to struggle to make weight, I don't believe he even tried, he will be the much stronger man in the ring. If weight doesn't matter, how about this? Double Escobedo's purse, and Broner has to wear 16 ounce gloves. Weight doesn't matter after all, according to some of you.
He signed the contract & thinks its a risk worth taking. Lets have it right Cellz, 3.5lbs at weigh-in will equal a lot more once Broner is fully fed & hydrated. If they fight there will be probably a 5-10lb difference. Even if they were exactly the same weight Broner is far superior & would be a strong favourite. He's faster & hits a lot harder than Guerrero or Katsidis, add a massive weight advantage to the obvious difference in ability & its a very risky fight to take. Take the $400k he makes from this fight, subtract camp & manager fees & its not a retirement fund if the worst should happen. Go watch Gatti-Gamache & see if having a massive weight disparity is a good idea.

those 3 pounds mean Broner may be over 150 in the ring Escobedo maybe 140 Broner will always be the favourite this fight would have been a decent test but the weight disadvantage will make it onesided
