Arnold was tailor made but good LORD that punch was just absolute money. It landed like a lightning bolt on Arnold. The scary thing is that it's essentially a grazing shot behind the ear.

Atlas says these sort of fights don't help Wilder develop and that these fights are bad for him. Says that he's going to have fight opposition much better than this.

wilder only has that right hand at this stage in career but the opponents he faces are sitting ducks. this dude arnold had NO technical skills. leaning to the right side on a dude with a crazy over the top right hand isnt smart.

The questions about rawness will indubitably remain, but I find it uncontroversial to assert that Wilder has the best physical attributes of all the young heavyweight prospects.

I agree. He's raw and he's a little lost sometimes with his footwork but I think he's above Fury, McCall and any other HW underneath 10 fights. I think by the 10th fight, he'll fight better opposition.

Flores says that Wilder is held at a higher pedigree than others because he's an olympic medalist.

Haye on the phone now. Said Wladimir is the cure for Insomnia Klitschko. "I got injured, it happens in boxing ask the Klitschko's they had their fair share of pull outs."

"First off you gotta have some strategy. Everybody stands in Wladimir with no head movement and they don't do anything but wrap their hands around their heads and take as many jabs as they can."

"I'll come in with some intensity like I want to win. I was disappointed in Chagaev, he didn't go out there like a warrior he went out on his stool."

"He was scared to knock Chagaev just in case Chagaev throws a punch back."

Kenny asks Haye how he can say this when Wlad keeps knocking guys out. Haye said Wlad hasn't fought somebody young, fresh, in their prime and a tough undisputed fighter.

Kenny asks if Haye will be ready to go when the fight comes and Haye said that he would be ready to go by the end of July. Says he wants either Klitschko brother in September.

Gotta love this bad blood rivalry developing between Haye and The Klistchko brothers.

I think Brian Kenny is funny saying that Wlad is dominant yet he runs off about Floyd Mayweather Jr. The guy is the ultimate guppy.

I was surprised that De la Hoya acknowledged Paul Williams as being an exemplar of an avoided fighter. It's a tip of the cap to the Goosen fighter who has such trouble securing bouts.

Agreed. The best part is that he's CLEARLY pissed off Wlad. You could see Wlad Klitschko frothing at the mouth to openly kill David Haye. Great stuff.

ODLH says that he's excited with the future of boxing. He said Deontay Wilder is an incredible fighter and that Danny Perez is the man. Atlas asks who ODLH who he thinks is the best fighter from the future that he doesn't promote. Oscar is quick to jump out and name Victor Ortiz and then says he doesn't really know any names particularly.

Tessitore asked about Mosley's future and Oscar says Mosley isn't getting any real offers because he dominated Margarito. Funny moment as Oscar says he's getting the "ala Paul Williams treatment." Said that they're getting prepared to go with Plan B but he doesn't say what Plan B is. Says if Pac wants to be the top WW guy, He should fight Mosley who is the top WW guy. Oscar and Teddy discuss JMM-PBF. Atlas says that JMM is no walk in the park and that age might be a factor.

Oscar says that "it's very interesting that now Floyd is beginning to get hurt with body shots in sparring." He said that it's very interesting. Atlas says that Mayweather is coming back because he needs money and he's taking a tougher fight because he needs money. Oscar counters and said Mayweather is a proud fighter who wants to fight the best and Marquez is the best. He said Mayweather wants to prove he's the best and he's fighting for his pride.

Oscar says he loves retirement and then jokes about getting that itch for boxing again.

It may have also been a nudge towards a potential fight between the two in the future.

i agree, i thought the same thing
i don't see the angle by which it could be promoted though... will most avoided fighter battle really be that compelling
