Besides saying "Vasquez" wrong many times, I see no problem with Teddy Atlas.

As a long time viewer of both Friday Nights Fights and formerly Wednesday Night Fights, Teddy's enthusiasm, personality, and Staten twang, have undoubtedly kept me as a hardcore fan for many years.

    The guy is a legend.

he is on a loop that is all.

his punches are a little fat,he should control that real estate with those long arms, he is the bigger man, in my fight plan...., "bangbang", overcome....

he has been looping this format for MANY years. when he was relativly new he was kinda like a fan of th esport now he sems to be sour yet filled with self worth.

He sucks, and is irratating. I consider him a phoney and a liar. But ESPN loves him, he must bring ratings. He does not know **** about boxing, by the way. He was half-assed lower level trainer, a nothing going nowhere, when all of a sudden Micheal Moorer, developed by Kronk gym, fell into his hands. He made title win of Moorers into a spectacle of him shobaoting in corner.

eople think he is knowledgeable?? All that 'Bing, bang BOP! " stuff he does in pre-fight segments?? That's bull****. He used to work his fighters that way. Tehy all failed or dropped him. Example: Guys are fighting on ESPN. Atlas does pre-fight nonsense. He says fighter number one, let's say a guy 21-1, has a fault that leaves him open. He then shows how to hit him. He does same with fighter number two, let's say a guy who is 18-0.
Now, if it was so easy, why are they so successsful? Is he only one who sees these things? Do people think all other trainers suck? All that "When he goes pop, you go BAM!!!!" stuff works well when choreographed, but try it in bout, it's not anywhere near as easy, often not possible.

Wow. A bit harsh, aren't we?

I enjoy listening to Teddy and I love watching him do that crappy "keys to victory thing" he does before the main events.

I find him entertaining, and think he's 20x better than that incompetent half-wit Kellerman.

Shoot, a few beers and bowls down the road, what's so bad about repetition?

Teddy has cleaned it up the last few weeks. I seriously think he'd been hitting the sauce a little too hard this winter and early spring. Yeah, yeah he always talks that way you can say, but his round scoring was simply insane and his metaphors weren't matching up.

His mismatched metaphors and offbeat analogies make his commentating sort of charming, for lack of a better word.

    Usually, yes.

I can't defend him though for trying to pretend Ngoudjo was "in" the Urango fight.
