Hopkins and Tessitore are both correctly calling out how Cintron needs to stay at a distance. When he's outside he's easily a class above Smith, inside not so much.

Hopkins admitting Calzaghe beat him b/c he was too defensive, and talking about Pavlik. Why is he acting like this?

Still never get the proper credit to Jermain for beatin him though.

    4- 3 Smith

He landed some great work up stairs that stunned Cintron mid round. Plus smith's body work looks like it is starting to have a big effect on Kermit.

    Smith won 7th

These are close rounds, scores are going to be all over the place I bet.

    68-65 Cintron.

Gave the last round to Smith and one other one and thought the 2nd was very close.

    Round 7

They press together, guard against guard. Smith works the body. Cintron flails with soft jabs. Wide overhand rights behind the neck by Smith, accompanied by solid left hooks to the body (and all accompanied by barking). Cintron splashes a soft hook into the side of Smith's head, landing with the knuckles of where his pinky finger ought to be. Nice hook to the face on the inside by Smith as Cintron is looking down at his feet and not working. Cintron flurries to the body. Hook to the face by Cintron as they separate. Smith leans out and throws a wide uppercut, barking and missing. Cintron misses a hook to the body and then snaps out - and misses - four straight jabs to the body. Good hook-2 combo by Cintron. Smith is pushed into the ropes and Cintron hooks him gently in the throat a couple of times.

    67-66 Smith

Man and Arum was about to put Cintron in with Pacquiao too. I'm glad Molina stopped that fight

When Cintron is on the ropes, hes landing the bigger shots but the judges are probably seeing smith working. Conroversial decison coming up I bet.

Is that the same hand he hurt against (i think it was) Brinkley on the Vargas v. Mayorga undercard a good minute back??

Cintron rolled on the floor crying after the final bell of the fight he'd just won.
