Who Holt sparked faster than Pac.

All after weight draining them or KO losses. Clottey is still suspect.

And both cracks Manny chose to LIE rather than to fight.

    Yeah seriously. :deal

Same we lump Mexicans in with tough. Same way we lump Eastern Europeans in with technical safety first. Same reason we lump hot women in with headaches. It is a generalization with some truth, but not a hard fast rule.

Now stop playing naive and debate the point. That BS about Clottey is childish too.

Didn't Clottey have a close war with Margarito, lost a close fight with Cotto, and tko'd Judah? Then he gets dominated by Pacman? Judah has the slick AA style as much as anyone except for Floyd and he got beat by 2 who happen to be Pacman's victims. Actually Cotto and Clottey beat Judah far more convincing than Floyd did.

If he keeps talking smack, Pac just might have to tap that ass too :ko

Maybe at a catchweight of 157 it could be done

Hopkins is gonna have to cut 18 pounds to fight Pacquiao? yea, that might work. Well done on the sarcasm front.

They aren't laughing with you Tony they are laughing AT you. That is more of their subliminal racist crap like "thug", "criminal", and "crackhead". They didn't call you Black for a reason.

Those are the people you choose to roll with though... You always my dude though. :thumbsup

None of these fighters were shot like RJJ. I don't even think it's conclusive that they were past their primes. It's pretty unfair to withhold credit from Pacquiao because Clottey was too defensive. Clottey is ALWAYS too defensive against really active fighters. I have too much respect for Clottey to ever say that he threw a fight for a mere $1.5 million. He wouldn't sell out his career for that kind of money, or any kind of money. It's just not that sort of person.

I think you're making the mistake of looking at defeats and assuming that the fighter is finished after that. I still think that Cotto even now could beat Mosley. I still think that Mosley even now could beat Margarito. And I still think that Margarito even now could beat Cotto. It's more a function of styles than people being shot or no good. It's the nature of the stacked division and it's what made 147 so compelling. I haven't seen anybody fall off a cliff after losing, which is the big sign that a fighter is shot. Cotto went on to win another title. Margarito remains to be seen.

I could easily argue that Mayweather deserves as little credit for beating Mosley as Pacquiao does for beating Mosley because aside from Margarito, Mosley hasn't been impressive. Margarito's last five performances were better on balance than Mosley's last five fights.

Beating Cotto, Clottey and Margarito > beating just Mosley. Mosley isn't clearly better than any of them, he just stylistically matches up better against Margarito than the others. I think both Clottey and Cotto could beat Mosley even now, even though Margarito beat both of them and Mosley beat Margarito.

Would I personally like Pacquiao to fight Williams, Berto, Alexander and Bradley? Sure. I'd also like to see Mayweather fight them. Neither of them are. In my view both Mayweather and Pacquiao are not fighting them for the same reasons, and those reasons are about green, not black.

I think you've hit *the* reason why Pac hasn't fought any of these black fighters you've named. And it's simply because Arum doesn't control them. It's not a racial thing at all, or even a "how do they matchup against Pacquiao" thing. It's simply that Arum has a bad habit of putting house fighters against each other so he can double his commission. And if Mosley ends up signing with Arum, then he will get a fight against Pacquiao because he will become a house fighter.

That's all this is. I think the whole "black american" thing or the "slick black" thing is just noise. And I think you sorta see what I'm getting at because you've hinted at it with your last post.

Likewise, Mayweather isn't fighting any of the same people you mentioned (except Mosley). He actually has less of an excuse because he's not tethered to promotional matchmakers and he's clearly not racist (against black americans, at any rate).
