Oh no doubt Khan is better in every other department, but Jargal can at least say he withstood that onslaught.

 

I think compubox is counting punches that aren't landing. Jargal is getting hit but not as much as it looks sometimes?

Jargal is bullying Prescott to the ropes!!! Prescott is leaning back, stretching them as far as they'll go, blasting Jargal with long right hands cocked up from outside of the ring. Jargal just won't let up. Jargal eats jabs to get inside, and then slips the inevitable uppercuts from Prescott once he's there. Prescott is now taking quick circling steps away from Jargal. The Mongolian keeps invading his space, and the Colombian tries to line up that 1-2. Prescott is backed into a corner and bends his knees as Jargal comes crowding him and bangs him with a nice left hook to the body. Jargal's nose is bloodied from all the jabs. Jargal gets in on Prescott again and wrestles him. Prescott misses some jabs, and Jargal lands his.

Better round for Jargal but not quite a winner.

Round 7

Prescott jabs and takes his bent-knee baby steps slowly around Jargal. Prescott keeps hitting glove with his jab, and now tries a big left hook that misses badly and allows Jargal to step in and grab. Jargal walks through some jabs and tries to slap Prescott with a short right hand coming forward. Jargal is landing his high-reaching 1-2 stepping in and just sacrificing his face, accepting the jabs smashing it. Jargal is all in Prescott's face, giving him no quarter. Prescott is pushed/punched to the ropes. Jargal slips left and right and makes Prescott miss a big lead right hand by faking him out with body feints and ruining his timing. Jargal follows him into a corner and rolls with another lead right by turning his head away. Jargal works his way in and keeps the pressure on.

Round 8

Jargal pesters Prescott into a corner and takes some clubbing 1-2 rabbit punches across the back of the head while ducking into him. Jargal is pounding away with his fists whipping overhand like wrecking balls. Prescott is dancing around the ring, trying to stay long and behind his jab. Jargal walks nose-first into a couple of jabs, then takes a step back and resets. Prescott keeps circling and running on the outside, not eager to engage. Jargal tries to cut the ring off but allows Prescott off the ropes a few times when long jabs fly out his way - missing but making him wary. Prescott lands jabs to the body. Prescott is dancing all around. Jargal can't catch him.
