Maicelo is doubling the left hook up top like he did at the very beginning, having success as he moves out of sight after each touch. Nagaev starts to find him rotating with his own long hooks. Maicelo buries his head in low against Nagaev's abdomen and gets caught by a few loose hooks and short clipping chicken-wing rights. Maicelo counters with a right hand backing up, but is HURT BY A WELL TIMED RIGHT FROM NAGAEV. Maicelo's eyes closed and his neck was bent all the way back. Maicelo recovers and dances around putting up light jabs. Clubbing right by Nagaev. More clubbing rights by Nagaev in an exchange by the ropes, as Maicelo lacks the strength to push him off.

Nagaev digs a left hook to the body and keeps pumping his arms out to catch Maicelo ducking and rolling around with the intention of slipping everything (but not keeping his eyes on the opponent and thus getting hit with more than he meant to). Maicelo counters with towel-snap up-jabs but can't back Nagaev off. Slow but determined and diligent, Nagaev keeps punching and punching and getting a few licks in on Maicelo. BIG right hand by Maicelo, unable to phase Nagaev. The Russian gives him a shrug and a grin, inviting Maicelo to bring it on.
