    Jones is coming forward, aggressive with hooking combos. Rooney covers up and tries to get a left jab working but Jones is very busy, slapping away with both hands around the side. Rooney just isn't letting his hands go enough, and when he does he's missing and getting slapped with flurries in counter. Rooney charges in and gets smacked with a sweeping right hand by Jones and goes face first into the ropes off balance. Ruled a knockdown. Rooney comes forward and misses his 1-2 while Jones hooks up high at him.

    It was a cuffing looping right hook, to more or less the nape of the neck..

    Eh, kind of a pushy/slappy knockdown but a punch still scored and he went down as a result. :conf
