Always thought "Truax" would have some sort of French pronunciation.

Yeah, the ring on last week's FNF, in a very awkward interview with Teddy Atlas.

Thanks IB (read the whole writeup too ;)).

Seeing him in this fight makes me wonder what anyone ever saw in that guy. There's clearly nothing in him, not even crude wich can be corrected, just no real talent.

    Boxing is weird sometimes.

if Truax knew how or was willing to fight inside he'd be a C+ fighter instead of a C-.

    Round 9

Truax is hooking and missing as Ennis ducks and sits on the ropes. Combos on the body by Truax, answered by overhand rights from Ennis. Truax is backing up and catching Ennis' jab on his upheld right forearm, and the right hand on his left palm. Truax is circling and boxing on the outside again, working the double jab and looping right on the crown of Ennis between clinches.

    10-9 Truax

    88-83 Truax

I feel bad for Monaghan; he makes a great point - Lee has literally nothing he doesn't. They're both regionally popular Irish-American dudes with come-forward styles, both juts ham-and-egg basic guys without too much athletic talent....not much difference except that a) Monaghan is a lot better and b) until recently Monaghan was mired in the local NY scene making **** money while Lee inexplicably has received a big push and had the red carpet rolled out for him.

Flurry on the body by Ennis.

    10-9 Ennis

    97-93 Truax

Atlas said to his face, in front of Algieri's hometown, "I don't think you won". :-(

    Algieri was classy about it.
