ESPN2 FNF: Rustam Nugaev vs. Marvin Quintero RBR

Atlas' metaphors are so awkward. :cringe:

Round 1

Nugaev is sticking his jab walking forward, missing as Quintero moves his head and counters with soft right hooks up top and straight lefts on the belt line. Quintero is starting to dig the right hook into the ribs. Nugaev answers back with a double left hook on Quintero's ribs. Nugaev tries cutting the ring down and pinning Quintero on the ropes but fails to connect with his headhunting hooks. Quintero is catching shots on the wrist and circling off the ropes, throwing right upper-hooks and short lefts.

Round 2

Quintero is sticking his double right jab, making quick lateral movements after landing. Hooks and straights by Quintero as he turns Nugaev. Left rips downstairs by Nugaev trying to mow Quintero into the ropes. Quintero stays low, knees deeply bent, bouncing and circling, chin down, busily throwing light counters. Nugaev slaps the body and then puts earmuffs on backing out as Quintero counters his way off the ropes from a crouch. Quintero is backed into a corner but grabs Nugaev's arm as he is winding an uppercut. Quintero flashes his arms up, not landing but affecting Nugaev's line of sight preventing him from taking aim with any hooks. Quintero is sliding back and tapping Nugaev with a right hook as Nugaev gets him with a piece of a left hook. Quintero spins Nugaev onto the ropes and flurries the body.
