Another point: UFC is showing the Anderson Silva ON BASIC CABLE, SpikeTV. For those who don't know, Silva is the #1 MMA P4P fighter right now (#2 at least). This means you get to watch him fight FOR FREE. Granted, this fight is his first in a new weight class, but it serves my point that EVERY FIGHT INCLUDING A SUPERSTAR DOESN'T HAVE TO BE ON HBO OR SHOWTIME!!!

Can you imagine Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao fighting on ESPN in a tune-up? Tell me that HBO ratings losers like PBF-Bruseles or Pacquiao-Diaz wouldn't benefit in the LONG RUN from being hyped on ESPN for a month. Worse come to worse, at least more people know who they are even if they didn't watch the fight because ESPN will at least make an effort to promote it on their shows and networks (Remember, Disney owns ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNNEWS, ESPN Classic, AND ABC, not to mention the other ABC cable packages like ABC Family)
