Na I'll take it. First fight was a great watch, neither is relevant in terms of the top dogs. So if they can serve up the same as last time that will do me.

What do people have against this fight exactly? We all enjoyed the first one

Benn had his moments in fight but lost clearly and cleanly. The cards were about right. It was the final note to the rivalry. That's why it's sold so poorly - there isn't any interest. There was no controversy. Benn actually showed he was a decent fighter in spells but Eubank was better. As their records would suggest.

The 2nd fight just isn't required. Eubank had Benn ready to go late in the fight if Benn stands at a distance he's get his head jabbed off again. Hopefully Eubank gets a win and the sorry saga gets put to bed, then young Christopher might use his name to garner a title shot and call it a career.

Rematch usual money grab, hope Jr wins again think only the scales and rehydration 6 months on him not getting any younger is the only way Benn can possibly win.

Probably plays out like the 1st fight, Benn clearly lost only deluded people around him thought it was close.

Think it's a combination of factors.

Firstly, stadium fight in November is never the most appealing. Waiting for transport out of Tottenham at 11pm on a November Saturday will put many off.

Secondly, this forum isn't representative of the average fan. If there was ever any doubt, it became evident in the build-up to the last one, where the common sentiment was "Benn shouldn't be fighting, it's a crap match anyway, nobody will watch it". I was one of that gang too. Afterwards, it became clear that most had watched it, including the above group, and nearly all agreed it had been a cracking evening. Strong chance this will happen again.

And thirdly, we're being starved of top level boxing outside of PPVs right now. Saudi prominence has harmed the UK scene badly; good fighters who shows used to be built around are mostly on that bandwagon now. DAZN do show quite a bit of stuff from smaller promoters that's really for the die-hards only. Nothing on regular Sky since Simpson in June, and nothing on TNT since Frank moved. That jaundice will feed down and people will find other stuff to do with their Saturday evenings.

For a good few years it felt like a rarity when there was no boxing on a Saturday night, now it feels rare it is on, and when it is, it's £20+ to watch. I can't blame anyone for resenting that.

With fights being on DAZN even I've forgotten when your average British card is on, I've followed the sport all my life from watching as a kid.

Crap PPV's have watered down a lot of cards as for going to stadium fights. Take heed.

Well the last one I'll ever go to free ticket or not which I got was Usyk Dubois in July, nice warm evening 10 45 finish straight to Wembley Park station, got in around 12 pm, surrounded by pissed up, bugled up, thousands of non boxing fans.

Sweet Caroline off to doing that again, advise against attending stadium fights unless one time Summer novelty with time on tour side and don't mind travel hassle, November be no fun at all, f that!

Fair enough, the venue doesn't mean anything going to me or 99% of people

The vast majority of people now don't pay for ppvs it seems.

A good fight is a good fight, I can have just as much fun and enjoyment in a good fight with lower level fighters as I can with the elite.

I'll be watching and like you said so will the rest including most of those who say they won't.

A rematch no one asked for or needed.
A stadium fight in the middle of November. Even the undercard is awful. Who in their right mind is forking out their hard earnt money to buy a ticket? I presume ticket sales are incredibly poor.

Correct - it looks half empty with just over a week to go. If anyone wants a cheap night out keep an eye on the seat filler sites

The strange thing about the rematch is the real lack of promotion. I wasn't a fan of the first fight but the build up seemed to be everywhere,TV, social media, Radio. They had a good storyline, the viral egg slap moment etc......but this time, almost complete silence. It seems strange because love them or hate them JR and Eddie are the best in game for selling a fight but unless they are saving some fireworks for next week this event is largely going under the radar.

That’s because Turki has since blacklisted most of the boxing media for mentioning sportswashing. Fighters on the bill aren’t allowed to do media with them.

First fight was also on Sky and TNT, so had all their hype behind it as well. None of that this time round.

Another example of why Matchroom FC was actually infact Sky Sports FC.

Heard of whisper due to how poor projected PPV sales are there’s been an approach to Sky to take the rights at a cut price. Sky have refused as they’ve got no time to promote the fight and think it’s too late now.
