Well for a start he'd have to move up a division.

Stick them two in the ring now and I'd side with Smith.

Yeah Eubank is a middleweight but you gotta remember hes fighting guys from light middleweight at 11 stone 10/9.

he needs a genuine middleweight test but his name has been put forward to fight in a british title eliminator

As far as I'm concerned he is chugging along nicely ticking all the right boxes.

I like him and expect him to win a world title.

I dont now if he will reach world level and im not sold on the Degale claims by his dad but i do think he is being brought along at the right pace, tough match ups so far if what most the commentators who talk about him are believed. Certainly the one on saturday was and he performed well, obviously showed flaws and over arrogance but he is developing too

I wasn't a fan of Eubank Jnr, but I thought it was a good performance.

Thought the KO was very good. Ribchev not been stopped before.

Would like to see a step up now...

    Buglioni/Fielding/Dodson?

He's always been a good prospect. He's only had 11 fights.
I think people over-scrutinize and criticize because he is son of Eubank.
Of course, comparisons and expectations are inevitable so it's understandable that they are cashing in on that.

I don't particularly like the "Simply The Best" routine and the Eubank Sr.-type posing, seems too contrived (he'll never be his father even if he becomes as good as him) BUT I can't blame them for using the name and fame to get the kid some publicity and a following.

Strictly as a fighter, a novice pro, he's been impressive.
