He looks good. He's cashing in a bit on his dad but that's understandable, when he gets more experience he wouldn't need his dads guidance and he will be more of his own man. Very impressive for his third fight.
i thought he was very good, especially as i was surprised as to how decent allison was. think he may lack an absolute knock out punch which may eventually become a problem
Taking on an opponent who's 5-0-1 is a tough challenge for your third fight. He did very well, was dominating clearly, and was able to step it up and stop the guy when the opportunity arose. However, his hooks are sloppy and very wide, especially his left hooks. When he throws his left hand, he carries his right too low and got countered by left hooks repeatedly. Sloppy habits that need to be rectified before he steps up
What I really liked was that in his 3rd fight he is put in against a guy that made him work and learn something. It wasn't just some bum that was ktfo with the first right hand landed. Most prospects (At least Fwank's) at this stage are put in against bums that don't come to try and win. That makes it even easier for the prospect. Allison came to try and win.
Just watched it. Good matchmaking, good fight. Going to have to be to maintain interest in him on terrestrial...will be good for his development as well as long as he isn't overly rushed at any stage. Allsion was game and there to win, looked ok. Possibly fighting a weight division too high, which gave Eubank an extra edge. Jnr definately looks encouraging. Many positives and the raw material is there. Obviously lots to work on, but there's time.
Good potential, and being brought along right so far. Bit wild with some of his shots in this fight, but I think that was because he was looking for the flashy one punch ko, due to those saying he has no power. The boy is good enough to rely on his skills... power will come with time, when he starts to sit down on his punches more.
I thought it was pretty cool. Emotionless and cold. He sounds like a choir boy in the interview though.
You are probably too young to remember it, but the reason it was cringe worthy was because his Dad used to do it. I understand why they are doing the whole Eubank reborn crap to sell him, but it is like a pantomine to be honest and cringe worthy to watch. From the same music to even doing the little slow motion backwards step and now the camera stare. Hopefully in the future he does well enough to make his own mark and be able to drop that crap and also drop having coverage by people who incesantly want to go and ask his Dad what he makes of the fight so far.
