No. But the ban has to come from the governing body and can’t come from Matchroom. If his b sample is negative and they have cancelled the fight when he’s then done nothing wrong it would cause mega litigation. Benn would be able to sue for not just this fight but the damage done to his career and loss of earnings. You could be talking a £100m lawsuit. That’s why they are putting it all at the board to ban him or let him fight. but the board can’t ban him by the precedent they set with BJS without getting sued themselves. It’s the board that have got themselves yet again in a complete mess by winging it when trying to govern the game
