Evander Holyfield vs. Sherman Williams RBR

Even if we give Holyfield the benefit of the doubt that he really had blood in his eye so he couldn't see those wide punches coming in the 3rd, it still doesn't look good for him.

In his prime, he would probably finish this kind of opponent during those three rounds... and besides, if he was on the receiving end of a headbutt, it means he is really shot.

 

Holyfield is one of my favourite fighters, but i hope he gets KO'd in the rematch with Williams; IF it makes him realise he's been utterly SHOT for 11 years & needs to retire.

I'm afraid he would just find another reason (cut, heart condition, judges, ... whatever) why he lost. He would then fight a complete tomato cans in a country that would license him to fight in hope to get yet another titleshot.

No matter how shot he is, and how much he gets for the fight (roughly 3-5% of what he used to in his prime), he is still a broke man with a lot of child support to pay.

Maybe after all his kids turn 18 (and he doesn't make new ones in the meantime) there would be some hope ;-)
