I never disputed the lineage, genius. Just its worth after Foreman locked himself in the bathroom with it for 5 years, screaming "Occupied!"or "Just one Moment!" everytime someone approached the door. Some all important lineage, just as shiny and new as the day he won it. Get real, revisionist. Nobody cared.

Nobody recognized Foreman as the man while Evander and Lewis were taking names. Most of us didn't even think he was still fighting, we thought he was selling those awesome grills full time. lol Keep telling yourself Briggs was recognized as "Da Man" for his disputed win over the prestgious lineal Champion.

Foreman was a disgrace to the heavyweight championship. He was too greedy and egotistical to do the right thing, which was to defend against the best fighters out there. Fighting Axel Schultz, who was not even rated when he was selected, was a joke. How the sanctioning bodies allowed that fight to happen is beyond me! Heck, there were probably guys making their pro debuts that probably could have beaten Foreman!

The WBA stripped him for chosing Shultz after so much inactivity. And the IBF stripped him after George and Arum bribbed them and than went back on it when Shultz turned out to be a little tougher than they thought. It was a joke, a title is defined by the Champion, not the other way around.

    - In 2000, at former IBF president

testified that he agreed to pay $200,000 for the IBF to grant a special exemption to approve a title fight between Foreman and the unranked Schulz. $100,000 would be paid before the fight, and the other $100,000 would be paid after the fight. Arum said that he made the pre-fight payment but refused to make the post-fight payment after learning that Foreman had paid $250,000 to another IBF official. According to prosecutors, after Foreman won by a controversial decision, promoter

paid the IBF to mandate a rematch. Foreman refused the rematch and vacated the IBF title.

Foreman's LINEAR title was worth 100 times more than any alphabet organization trinket.

Facts are FACTS, Foreman was the Man despite what idiots like the media and the abc organizations say. NOBODY cares what they think...

-Only If you value the shameless cherry picking of unknown opponents once every 1-2 years so you could claim you weren't really retired yet. Again, any title is what the CHampion makes of it. Foreman buried himself in irrelevance and was treated as such by everyone who followed the sport or was involved in it.

-Foreman was in fact the lineal Champion but it wasn't long before he was forgotten and not looked upon as the Man by ANYBODY. :good Well except for you, I guess. With only the McCall and Briggs' wins to his credit; If Lewis never faced Holyfield, he would never have been recoginzed as "undisputed." Both men had a claim at the top spot, it needed to be settled in the ring. If Lewis was in fact the MAN as you say...he would not have needed a fight with Holyfield for those trinkets he won from Tyson that Foreman dropped to hide from Bowe, Lewis, and anyone with a pulse. The public would not have demanded Holyfiled/Lewis for clarity if the matter was settled with Foreman/Briggs/Lewis. Revisionism, revisionism, where will it end.
