Even with 2 layers of clothing, JMM really looks small compared to Floyd...

Floyd-JMM not ok since they're at least 2 divisions apart and JMM also the older, weaker, slower, lesser skilled of the 2. A mismatch fight.

Williams-Floyd is ok coz they're in the same division and even if Floyd is smaller, he's still the faster and more skilled of the 2. A competitive fight.

 LOL at the hat and several sweats... That's the usual cheap tricks promoters used to hide the smaller man and make it look that the size difference is not that much...:rofl They also let the shorter boxer to wear thick soled shoes during these prefight staredown to lessen the height difference just like what they do in PAC-Hoya...:rofl

Not much protest on Floyd-Hoya coz even if Floyd the smaller boxer, he's still the faster, younger and more skilled boxer of the 2... A competitive fight...

In Floyd-JMM, JMM already the smaller boxer and worst he's the older, weaker, slower and lesser skilled of the 2... Clearly a mismatch fight...

BTW, if PBF and PAC wins their respective fights, can I still post here?? How about if JMM loses to Floyd you stop posting here?

Being the smaller man is not a bad thing in fact its a good thing considering Mayweather is a saftey first kind of fighter, Floyd figuring out where Jaun is going to be at is going to be a task in itself, you have to find the smaller man in order to hit him.

Juan can take advantage of being the shorter guy in this fight, Remember the shorter Hatton Took Floyd rounds, Sure Hatton didnt win any of those rounds But Floyd had to find another way to beat him~

Marquez is a far better boxer than Hatton, and if Marquez gets to that body early who knows where this fight will end up in the late rounds. I like Floyd by stoppage late, But I think Marquez is brining a bit more than just a game plan, I honestly feel that if this goes to the cards, the recent "Uncle Tom" Statement is going to bite Floyd in the ass..... He is ****ing with HBO why bite the hand that feeds you?

Got this from one news article:

    Mayweather keys to victory

    1. Impose size advantage. This is the first time Marquez has fought above 135 pounds. In a close decision loss to Manny Pacquiao in 2008, Marquez's boxing skill allowed him to handle the Filipino's superior speed. The difference was Pacquiao's superior physical strength and punching power, two areas where Mayweather should have a distinct advantage, too. Mayweather has fought as high as 150 pounds. Marquez spent the first 13 years of his 16-year career at featherweight (126).

    2. Make him move. Mayweather has shown the best lateral movement of any boxer in recent memory. Marquez's footwork isn't bad, but standing in front of the offensive juggernaut to box gives him his best chance to win. A classic boxer who flourishes when he's able to plant both feet and throw beautifully conceived combinations, much like the late Alexis Arguello, movement, angles and foot speed can hamper Marquez's output. In two of his four losses, movement from Freddie Norwood and Chris John gave him trouble. When Marquez sets, make him reset. But before he resets, get off your punches.

    3. Down the middle. Marquez tends to attack and retreat in straight lines and will be available for straight right hands. In 2007, Marco Antonio Barrera was reeling from Marquez's seventh-round onslaught but ran him into a straight right hand that put him on the canvas (though it wasn't correctly ruled by the referee). He can be easy to hit early. Pacquiao and Juan Diaz found that to be very true, but he has such a high boxing IQ he'll make adjustments between rounds and become a more difficult target. When Marquez gets hit, however, his natural instinct is to fight and abandon his counterpunching posture. Draw him out. Both fighters are alarmingly accurate punchers, but in a firefight the bigger and stronger of the two should prevail.

ha ha  Impose his size...

You also said Oscar's body wouldn't retain any water after he dehydrated.

Which would mean he would be fighting in a depleted state, which he would be seriously (very high risk) risking his life.

Wouldn't you think his nutritionist would know this and not let him fight?

Oscar was below 150 fully hydrated weeks before the fight.

By dehydrating himself he would lack proper fluid around the brain which would be huge risk of brain damage. You are going to tell me, Oscar fought in this state for what? Unless you claim he's an idiot and his team had no idea. There's no way he fought in a depleted state.

Mayweather doesn't rely on size, he made a career fighting bigger guys so this isn't something strange.

Guys who impose their size are aggressive fighters who are boxer punchers or punchers. Cotto will impose his size against Pac as an obvious tactic, DLH was also imposing his size, Hatton..etc

Hatton was slightly smaller than Mayweather and Mayweather didn't impose his size there either. His counter punches and fast punches are what backed Hatton off only to drop him late.

If JMM looks small compared to Floyd, then how is PAc going to look? If JMM-Floyd is a mismatch, so is Floyd-Pac. Only a Pac fan is terrified of what Floyd can possibly do to JMM. Pac's fans will cheer revery punch landed on Floyd, come here Sunday night talking about if JMM can do this, Pac will do that...the writing is on the wall. If Floyd beats JMM impressively, I'm not sure I would want to see Pac-Floyd as I already think that fight is a mismatch. Floyd-PW at 154 sounds better or Floyd shane at 147.

Josh is a good fighter but he's a gatekeeper at best, someone that would give the top guys a decent test and if they pass they do good.

His stamina issues are well known and have always been mentioned. He had a blown up, beyond shot, coming off two brutal mental and physical beatings/KOs against Castillo and Casamayor literally OUT since round 7 and couldn't keep the punches up. He would throw a flurry then hold on out of obvious exhaustion.

He also had Cotto look ready to be taken backing off to the ropes and he caught him with some shots but couldn't keep the punches up and eventually held on.
