    This is true. just people need to understand that everybody picks there opponets.

    cherrypicking in terms of boxing is selecting to fight a fighter that is less of a threat than the others available.


    handpicking is also a form selecting but not necessarily for an easier fight.

    Nearly every fighter was handpicked at some point in their careers, before they were in a position to influence their options and do the handpicking. But, boxing would benefit greatly from just one recognized champion in each division. The S6 format, though it had some major flaws, was on the right track.

    Couldn't agree more. Floyd hand picks undefeated fighters. Manny cherry picks shot fighters.
