Yeah man, I come across as throwing this at just Pac, but when I say Pac I really mean Team Pac. I try to always type that, but... :yep At the core though it is Arum with a sprinkle of Roach.

I honestly feel a bit bad for Pac. This type of build-up gets a guy crucified when he falls from grace.

Hey I won't argue that it is made by a "hater", but it is all video of words coming directly out of Roach's mouth.

It started somewhere between the period where he fought Ndou,Sosa,Corley,Gatti,Brusseles and Mitchell one after the other and during that time a strange phenom occurred, while the competition he was facing got weaker his ego got bigger and bigger(the same happened with RJJ) and he turned into a douchebag who thought he didnt had anything else to prove in boxing and was more worried with winning fights outside of the ring talking trash about guys he wouldnt fight than proving it in the ring by kicking their asses.

It happens to most African American fighters on HBO. It is called "Larry Merchant-itus". You keep winning and winning then some drunk guy keeps jumping in your face discrediting your accomplishment (win), your defeated opponent, and then hyping some "hope". Eventually you start saying F the world! FMJ, RJJ, Tarver, etc... They all had it in varying degrees of severity.

I understand that. But you also have to keep in mind that while PBF was putting masterclass boxing exhibitions on against the likes of Chico Corrales and others no one took notice. At the same time he sees guys like Gatti, Oscar and others get praise, love by the fans and big money fights while he got nothing. He then became bitter because he knew he had more talent and could beat them both and started calling guys out and talking trash and playing the bad guy role to get noticed. The good guy Olympic medalist act didn't work for him so he switched tactics and it was worked to a tee.

I have to admit iam biased in favor of cubans boxers,i cheer for them,i follow them and wish them the best.
Pac has impressed me since the moment he took care of Barrera. There was a time that the only cuban around was Casamayor and my favs boxers along with el cepillo were Barrera,Morales,DLH,Gatti,Lennox,Tito,JMM,Cotto and Kostya Tzyu...but the way Pac made his way to the ranks has been impressive, and besides he is humble and nice and keeps his smile under any circunstances.I dont know if he uses steroids or not,so far always been negative for every single test.
Today i see many cubans trying to acomplish a succesful career and wish them the best, the kinds of Gamboa,Rigo and Lara seem to be heading to the right direction, but nothing will make me more proud than seen them emulating Manny inside and outside the ring.

You guys have some delusional persecution complex.

Way more people appreciate Pac than not.

What? You want the love to be unanimous, right down to the last man? And if it isn't, then he's somehow "hated"?

How boring would that be, anyway?
