Somebody like Dave Allen ,stationary and durable but slow would flatter Fury a bit.I watched last night shite this morning on a free stream, no way would I pay for that crap.Gorman looked okay.

 

I think Allen is the perfect opponent at the minute. He’s just gona stand there and get beat up but he can do the rounds and is actually a heavyweight.

 

The whole shower of sheet show was Totally down to Fwanks bad promotion/choice of opponent and that banana suit he wore! Just shows he thinks he looked good but maybe in 1970 he would have! You gotta grow with the times and last night was a joke of a show. Fury doesn’t look like he’s changed mentally too and that’s worrying with big fights ahead. The pro boxing circuit should’nt have to see opponents kissing b4 they fight and stopping during a round to watch the crowd fight and doing a waanker sign to someone during the fight. Thought he’d be more professional all over. Fwank so looks like his puppy it’s cringe worthy.

 

Looking back at it and how bad an opponent the Dwarf from the East was.....what seriously would have happened if Fury was as he said he was in the best shape of his life and something like he was 2 years ago? Surely there could have been anither potential fatality to talk about, it was that bad a match up! Shame on you Fwank having double standards always and shame on the Board who are a money making pile of lowlifes.

 

Frank has always been small time compared to Eddie. Back when he was up against the likes of Maloney and Mick Hennessey he was the top dog. Now he's just a washed up, banana looking, sour, shoulder shrugging, old timer. Everything from the promotion to the production to the security to the fight cards to the commentary team to the ring walk is all B grade standard

 

I can see Frampton ending up with Hearn next year. I don’t think there was ever a set X number of fights or years announced when he signed with Warren. LSC is the one he wants and I just don’t think Warren could deliver it.

 

Then people complain about rising ticket prices. Ticket prices get raised so you can outprice these football chavs.

 

Eddie is not a risky man. He is sly and calculated. Golvokin v Brook (Golovkin was twice his weight division and everyone was saying beforehand Brook would get murdered). Brook v Spence (Brook was coming from a weightcut and eye injury. Joshua v Klitschko (a 42 Year old Man, even rob Mckracken said that is the only reason why they took him on). Joshua v Parker (They only made it once they saw Parker's performance against Hughie Fury). You see ? Their is always a catch with a Eddie Hearn superfight ? Either someone is too old, coming from the wrong weight division eyc. Maybe Froch-Groves even then Carl was much older, i have not seen Eddie put on a real, elite 50/50 fight, both at their primes and peak ages fighting for a world title, Joshua v Wilder would erase that.

 

Made a good start getting Donaire over but Frampton will end up a laughing stock if he doesn't deliver a credible opponent for Windsor Park.

 

Every now and agin for years, there is talk of the demise of Warren, yet he is still here.

 

I think Eddie just about gets the balance right with his matchmaking. They are promoters after all. Look at crolla and Campbell. Linares a hard fight for anyone. Mendy pretty early for campbell . They need to err on the side of caution but Eddie a lot more likely to stick his prospects in tougher fights earlier. Franks just all about tricking the fans with his matchmaking.

Eddie,s not perfect. But warren is pretty farcical ATM. Its not improving either seems to get more farcical the more desperate he gets. Cancels shows when he wants. Allows guys to pull out if ticket sales don't go well. Doesn't have opponents for his fighters half the time. Selects useless opponents when he does get them in. Spends most of his time criticizing hearn. Never has enough security at his events. Openly supports one guy over another when he promotes both of them cause ones a cash cow. That's all happened in just in the last few weeks as well.

Hes having a go but the reality is hes not actually much good at it.

 

Not defending Warren or slating Hearn, but the love in for Hearn is mad when he has provided us with these so far this year;

Okolie vs Chamberlain
Brook vs Rabchanka
Whyte vs Browne
AJ vs Parker was a bad undercard
Khan vs Le Greco
Bellew vs Haye

Just find it bizzare how people seem to worship him.

Just look at the ring announcers, matchroom have the Buffer and Warren has a guy faking an american accent. Then look at suits they wear, hearn probably wears armani and Warren looks like his was from a charity shop.
