Evidence that Lucas eye wasnt closed by a punch but rather by Dannys thumb

was that fight close? i don't think so. i thought it was 8-4 in favor of danny. that's not close.

 

Lucas was taking over the fight until the very unfortunate eye injury and the beating Danny administered on Lucas's Nuts.

 

well we know a couple facts about this fight.

Danny won. And that danny hit him low 20+ times and a thumb rake caused the eye swelling.

4-2 lucas before the swelling. i honestly think they'll meet again down the line. maybe not for a couple years but i think Matthysse will continue to run shop at 140 and with a possible Garcia loss to floyd we might have a rematch. Lucas is only 31 and has some good mileage left in him.

and people saying this is embarrassing? how so? there is now video evidence of the 20+ low blows ( 3/4ths of which lucas isnt even holding his head like is being claimed by some) and the eye swelling not being caused by a punch, which garcia fans were so sure of it was, they called anybody ******ed that said they don't remember a punch causing it.

 

It doesn't matter even if it was caused by the Ref...lol. All that matters is Matthyse lost the fight.

 

These 2 will rematch for sure, so any controversy on who the
better fighter is will be sorted out.

but he never went down from a shot. he was pulled down, then he got caught up in the ropes. he wasn't able to defend from that position so he went down.
