Ali-Frazier I,Rumble in the Jungle, Louis-Schmeling II,Dempsey-Tunney II, Johnson-Jeffries were by far the biggest sporting events in the world.
Tyson was the most recognised athlete on the planet in the 1980s.

The Tyson-Lewis match might be a good comparison, but boxing hasn't a hold on the Western popular consciousness for a while, now.

It could be bigger then those fights. Now I dont know if it would be bigger then ALI-Fraizer but I mean damn, this world would be going nuts for this fight. espcially if Mayweather beats the crap out of JMM. I truely believe this fight would do 3 mil buys, and easy 2 mil, but it could really do 3 mil.

For me it's going to be very very big for the current state of boxing. But it can be compared to Ali Frazer or Ali Forman or any big fight in the past. First boxing is not a mainstream sport now. Secondly the two guys are excellent boxers but they just lacks that something special to connect with the mainstream public. They just lack charisma and really interesting personalities outside of boxing.

it'll be huge but not as big as the classic fights mentioned. boxing's just not as popular these days. more lewis v holyfield than ali v frazier i'd say...

It might top Tyson/Lewis but not Ali/Frazier.
