How about getting impatient to be inside where he can swarm and sometimes leaping in? (that's what got him turnbuckled, after all...not to mention countered to an embarrassing degree by everyone from Collazo to Lazcano...)

Pacquiao - Cutting off the ring

Broner has terrible footwork. Froch could defend himself when he wanted but most of the time he was very sloppy. Ricky Hatton - no jab? Kevin Johnson - terrible workrate?

Broner could actually have IMO done well for himself with emulating Toney's feet-in-cement style and refining it until he was really good at it, but instead he spread himself thin and tried aping too many of his idols. He thinks he can move around the ring like Floyd when he wants to AND slip punches in center ring like Toney. Sorry, youngster, but most people would be lucky to get passable at just ONE guy's style, let alone juggling both.

Stevenson - Very left-hand dependent, to the point it becomes a glaring weakness.

Pac and Wlad getting multiple mentions apiece. Goes to show even the very best in this sport can have amateurish flaws or "room for improvement" (though in both cases those are very old dogs to be learning any new tricks or correcting habits ingrained for decades)

Has he scored many right hook knockdowns? Or a single knockout?

Maybe? I think I remember one from way back but since he's stepped up in competition he's been very one dimensionally just looking to land that straight left. Someone with good footwork could REALLY exploit that.

The only boxer in recent times I can think of that didn't have ONE potential nitpick (and not even a terrible attribute, but less than stellar) is prime eighties D'Amato/Rooney era Kid Dynamite.
Not to sound fanboyish ad nauseum but he really was the complete article, damn near unimpeachably skilled and potent during that period.

Stevenson is ****ed if he fights someone who can counter his straight left.

Similar case with Donaire as well, I remember Vic said something about him being too left-hook happy, and he managed to do pretty well against him in the second fight.

Shame, because Nonito was a pretty well-rounded fighter back when he originally fought Vic.

Even if Floyd hadn't fought Hatton on the inside, he still would have countered him silly.

That was a gross mismatch, nearly as much as Baldomir.

(Not saying Tata and the Hitman were the same caliber, just in "styles make fights" terms)
