they're not trying to rip his head off but cottos camp chose this sparring partner because of his punch 20w18ko's and his height6'1 which means=probably hit harder than marg and is taller!!!!

 

It's also doubtful that Margarito's partners are trying to crack his ribs.

 

I understand that. But it all falls flat if the guy isn't trying to knock Cotto out.

Margarito's gym wars are well known. Not so sure about Cotto having gym wars.

 

War or not is no real indication of how well prepared they will be. The best sparring sessions are not necessarily aiming at ripping each other heads. Generally it's an exercice to put some tactics into practice.

Which just reinforces the fact that Cotto and his team know that Margarito will be the baddest fighter he has ever fought and he needs to be on his A+ game to win. Cotto will be in the best shape of his life and have his tactics down to a "T."

Though I still pick Margarito to win a brutal fight.
