What exactly did broner do to take Paulies belt? I must admit I made the embarrassing prediction that broner would win easy. I thought Paulie was getting old on us after the Pablo cano fight. Not taking anything away from broner, he may go on to fight better at 147 seeing as it was his first fight and he jumped up 2 weightclasses. But broner did nothing to win this fight. There were alot of close rounds where Paulie landed more shots and was busier and broner landed the cleaner shot but let's get one thing straight. I kept hearing the announcers talk about these POWER shots. I didn't see much power in the fight and broners shots didn't do **** to Paulie. He was nowhere near hurt once in the fight. The judges must not have been scoring any of Paulies body shots. At the very best for broner he coulda got a draw. I think Paulie deserved the nod ever so slightly and I clearly respect him for telling it the way it was after the fight! Mad props to you magic man! Out w the old and in with the new. Typical boxing. I'm sick of it!
Paulie won the fight!!! If Paulie had any power he would have knocked Broner out!!! Broner better go back down in weight. He will lose against a good fighter with power, no doubt................
That's right, experts only. I really question somebody's boxing iq that thinks broner did anything to take Paulies belt.
I absolutely agree with you that Paulie gave a great performance and I'd love to see a rematch. That said, Broner did, in fact, hurt him a couple times, Paulie's just really good at hiding it.
I'm the biggest Paulie fan there is, been one of my 2 or 3 active favorites for years... But I thought the fight was a Draw. Anybody who thinks either side clearly did anything in terms of a number of rounds won is pretty crazy, I think. You can't tell me that Broner or Paulie won 8 rounds. No way.
give some credit to Malignaggi for exposing Broner's weaknesses... after the fight, Broner proved she or i mean he really is, an ordinary boxer..
Lol Pauli didnt land a clean punch the entire night. Broner was snaping Pauli's head back all night. Pali didnt come to fight,. He came to spoil. He ran alll night and shoe shined every time Broner got close. Not effective at all. Look at Pauli's face after the fight lol. You dudes make me laugh. How do you expect somebody to jump two weight classes and, knockout a legit title holder who has a good chin? Pauli himelf came up to Broner and said he lost. He just got all butt hurt whn Broner owned him in that post fight interview.
I call bull****.. Broner done little to nothing in the first five rounds except walk around like a poser also add in the fouls that were not given.. Brone on gonna get whooped when he fights someone with a bit of power.
Broner won 115-113. Also, you don't have to "take the belt from the champion." You only have to win more rounds.
