I think it did both. The fight definitely removed the euro of invincibility from him. Opponents can now look for potential weaknesses. At the same time, what he did in that ring was incredible. To dominate an experienced champion early, and then recover after facing adversity to finish with big punches in the 11th round? That proves himself.
A bit of both I suppose. His stamina was exposed, and question marks on his chin was once again raised. His desire to carry on fighting when hurt is now proven. That and the ability to come off the canvas against your toughest opponent in front of a huge crowd and pull of the win will do wonders for him. I would say in the end there were more positives than negatives.
relunctantly i'm going to pick exposed. While i picked Joshua to win, I expected it to happen much sooner. being that gassed in the 5th and then getting caught square and going down in the 6th, using rounds to get his breath back, only makes Fury's win look more impressive. On the other hand it's a great win for him so he's proven in that sense. Vlad really showed up !
AJ won. WK stated better man won, AJ accepts he is a work in progress. AJ proved himself, there were a lot here on this forum who predicted and put money on WK winning.
