    An example

A bodybuilder weighing 230 pounds of muscle but his natural weight is around 200 pounds.

Foreman weighing 230 The bodybuilder weighs the same but Foreman is naturally bigger

As i said, it's relevance is absolutely nothing.

Hatton was not the bigger man against Floyd.

But that'd make very little difference in a fight. The fact both would be 230, and the bodybuilder wouldn't have put on 30lbs of fat, means it would be an even fight - weight wise.

Patterson and Charles are the same size naturally (both LHWs) but Patterson put on the extra 10lbs of muscle earlier, whereas Charles did it later on, as he cleaned up the division first. When both filled out naturally (no added fat or muscle) both were LHWs. Patterson may have been 2/3lb heavier, since Ezz came on a lot around 173, but there's nothing in it.

Tyson was "naturally bigger" than Holyfield but we are how that turned out. Holyfield and his artificial size won the day

Holyfield won because he had his number,it had nothing to do with their size

So could Holyfield have beaten him weighing 190 pounds?

I don't know. Like i said ,the hw version of evander was not natural,he used hormone and he was bigger (not only heavier)than he was before

Yeah it did. You telling me a cruiser Holyfield could have taken Tyson? He may have been able to take SOME heavies, but not the Tyson's, Lewis's and Bowes of the division.

Ezzard is much more proven against top fighters, but I actually got Patterson in this one, I just think Patterson is a bad style for Charles if he comes to fight instead of box like in the 2nd johanson than I could see him savaging Charles onto the ropes and breaking him down for the knock out.

This is the problem with "bigger" it absolutely is not a fixed attribute. It's a dynamic attribute that changes.

That Guillermo Jones for instance. At one point he was a welterweight, therefore he was smaller than any one from 154 pounds and above.

Today he's a heavyweight, so this guys who were once bigger than him, no longer would be.

    It's something that changes.

Yeah but it is using roids and hormone, then you change your genetics

    Look at Sam Langford then.

At one point he was the smaller man moving up in weight to fight Barbados Walcott.

Had they fought later in their careers Langford would be out weighing him by 50 pounds.

"big" is a dynamic that changes.

The idea of someone being a bigger man only has relevance if you are talking about someone who's proven at a higher weight class vs someone who isn't.

Like Dwight Qawi vs Gennady Golovkin for instance.
