This is pretty much my opinion, except that I also believe MAB let down his fans last night. If he didn't come to push for a victory, he should have not taken the fight at all. One can't help thinking that he only came for a final paycheck and an off chance of beating Pac on points after 12 rounds.
Mayweather was KO people when he was in his natural weight class. I think the double standard is that MAB is Mexican fighter and the Mexican fans are so loyal that they would always love their fighters no matter what they did and they would hate a fighter like PBF no matter what he does in his fights.
so answer this question. DID MAB GO IN THERE TO WIN OR JUST TO SURVIVE AND COLLECT HIS PAYCHECK? i thought i'd get a fight. i didn't. in the few moments that they exchanged wildly, i think MAB held his own. pac was not his usual self in this fight. he appeared beatable. if mab came into the fight with the proper mindset, i think he could have defeated pac. but even before he stepped inside the ring i think he just wanted to survive i am not hating on mab's entire career nor am i doubting his heart as a whole. i am just saying that for this instance, mab did not fight to win. and this is the first and last time that i've seen mab do this. even in his first fight with pac, he tried to fight. he tried to land a bomb that would ko pac. i'm happy it was his last fight. i'm thankful for all the classic matches he has given us against hamed and morales and marquez. i just hoped that he would go down swinging. that would have been a fitting ending to a career like his
