It's far more likely that he's the new Joe Joyce than anything else, yes he can punch but he can also get hit quite easily.
Ex Army Jim starts a thread about cans and ends up being Tangoed Just back after a long ban as well FFS
Alts get banned all the time, he has let the mask slip multiple times. It's why he never complains about it.
I like Wardley's approach to boxing he gets stuck in and is always on the front foot. Technically, he has some serious flaws and is often caught off balance. But against more sound boxers, he can find a way to win through aggression and balls. He is British level but no shame in that, very few HW's even reach that level even those with a lot of talent.
Wardley v Adeleye was a victory for the natural fighting talent over the manufactured fake tough guy robot
I don’t think any of the emerging British HWs are up to much tbh. Wardley, Adeleye, Fisher, Clarke, Itauma, Okolie (he’ll definitely move up next year IMO)… Can’t see any of them getting near a world title shot.
that’s totally fine. not every Tom, Dick or Joe Parker should be a world champ just get them fighting each other so we can separate the wheat from the chaff, instead of passing around the same Polish punchbags like a spliff
I’m enjoying watching Wardley fight at the moment, he’s crude but can bang and has a solid chin, quite happy to make it in to a dog fight. Wardley vs kabayal for the euro title isn’t a bad fight if the Clarke one doesn’t happen
Wardley and Itauma are clearly very good. Fisher and Okolie could be decent. Clarke isn't very good but he's a lot better than Adeleye who is hopeless.
Yeah Itauma is the one who will prove me wrong I think. Wardley will probably be a solid contender that falls short of world level. Not convinced by Fisher yet, he ain’t fought anyone. Okolie is just so bad to watch that I have no interest in him. Don’t see him getting near a world title.
