    Didnt shannon briggs get a KO in the past year or so and there was like 1 second left in the fight?

    Maybe i imagined it.

    yup. it was briggs vs. liakovich. great fight...briggs was behind!

    Not to be a downer, but these do fit the thread:

    Gerald Mcclellan vs. Nigel Benn
    Chris Eubank vs. Michael Watson II

    Absolutely incredible fights if not for the tragedies laced within them. Possibly 2 of the best wars I've ever seen. Though they aren't to be celebrated =/

    Has to be LaMotta-Dauthuille.

    Jake's plan was to get Dauthuille tired by letting him win the 1st 14 rounds and 2:45 of the last round, then pounce on him.
    Brilliant plan. Always works...

    .. yea. These wars were pretty brutal. Eubank said the fight changed him. :verysad
