No, I don't want to see a rematch. Danny beat his ass. As long as you know Danny clearly won, wtf do we need a rematch for?

i think that Matthysse should get the rematch first. then the winner can move on.

i know i'm in the minority, but i had Lucas winning the first fight by 3 points. so Danny should make that fight his first priority.

    it's only right.

Danny closed his eye with one, yes one, left hook. that's the only damage that Matthysee received.

there was no Ass kicking what so ever.

Because it was a good fight. Garcia won, but it was hardly a beatdown, or one sided. I'd say the rematch would be a 50/50 proposition. You think that fight was conclusive? Or doesn't warrant a rematch? You realize that had that KD not been called, it might end up being a Matthysse win? It was a tense, dogged affair, a good fight that Garcia more than earned the victory in. i enjoyed it and would gladly see another. Did you watch the fight?

You are in the minority. Danny is the champ and he won without controversy. In no way, shape, or form is Matthysse owed a rematch. He had his shot, he gave it a good go, and came up short. Danny owes Lucas nothing.

this would be great undercard on the next mayweather PPV as I can't think of any opponents I actually would be that interested in seeing him fight.

This rematch has a 100 percent chance of being action packed

It was a good fight and it was not onesided as some are saying,Garcia won the fight but it was closer than people are making it out to be.
I think the rematch would be fun to watch but also pointless, Garcia took a few rounds to feel the power from Matthysse and know he could take it.
In a rematch Garcia would start putting Combinations together sooner and the outcome would be more in Danny's favor.

Supposedly the first one was supposed to be action packed. BIG let down. It was so bad the Mayweather-Canelo fight clinic was actually exciting. The one eye excuse is lame. Lucas went in there with one game plan, KO Garcia. It was fail after a few rounds.

I would rather see Garcia shut up Broner than watch Lucas again. Lucas needs to prove himself against Alexander and Judah first. I think Alexander beats him again.

I Like the Brooner vs Garcia fight for the WBA belt, but if Garcia can take a stay busy fight in decembar would be great, a solid fight at 147 to debut like Mallignagi, Soto Karas kind of opposition or defence his title at 140 to the likes of Cano, Peterson ect. Then move to bigs things in 2014 with Brooner and Floyd.

True, but it was Danny that caused the eye to swell with a nice short left. We can't over look that.

It was a very close fight, but the judges got it right IMO.

If anything it elevated Danny and Lucas remains on par.
