Fantasy fight: Naseem Hamed v Salvador Sanchez

I think it is pretty clear the great Sanchez would have won this fight. What we really should be debating is how a rematch in 1984 between a then ready Sanchez ad Azumah Nelson would have gone. Nelson's subsequent career has gone on to honor Sanchez. Somewhere up their in Boxing heaven Sanchez must be smiling at the way Azumah Nelson's career has honored and added to the Sanchez legend.

 

Sanchez would have done a real number on Hamed levels above anything Hamed had beaten let alone lost to & that is no slight on either Hamed or the man that beat him Barrera.

Nelson v Sanchez rematch again Nelson a fighter I really liked great fighter I still take Sanchez to win on points.It is opinions I know the sad thing is we can only speculate & with his prime years in front of him it's frightening to think that even though he left a legacy we as fans ultimately missed out on some really great potential fights.

Great fighter can be a overused term to any of the young fans out there try & watch as much of him as you can you won't be disappointed!
