ESB Brit forum sentence of the year so far. Also agree that Tommy Hearns would be Mayweather's worst nightmare - an absolute mauling!
Yep, Hearns would give Mayweather a beating. All wrong for him. Heck i think Vernon Forrest (rip) would've given him a run for his money.
deal That Jab and Right Hand!!! Pretty Boy wouldn't be looking so pretty after he met the Viper! RIP Vernon
Wlad would have a panick attack. lol In my humble opinion if Ike Ibeabuchi would not have had the mental illness he had, then the history of the heavyweight division would be different. As i've said Ibeabuchi was mixture of Holyfield and Tyson, that's the best way i can describe him. Tell me the last time you saw a 240lb volume power puncher in the history of boxing except for Ibeabuchi? The Klits are very good but i would favour Ike over both of them. just watch what he does to the skillful Chris Byrd and you'll see that Ike Ibeabuchi was a machine! He was actually the first person to beat a prime Chris Byrd and David Tua. You may not think much of Tua, but there's no denying that he was a more then murderous puncher in his prime. Ibeabuchi stepped to him and threw over a 1000 punches, he took Tua’s shots and walked right threw them like Tua was throwing pillows at him. All the heavyweights of the last 15 years including the Klitschko’s should count their blessing IMHO.
You said it brah. Viper's whole style was throwback in that he could touch and find the speedy gonzalez' and f*** them up.
Leonard and Hearns both outclass their respective opponents, then you already know what happens in the final...
If he doesn't put him down early he's in trouble. Tito was vulnerable in those early rounds, but it was still very difficult to stop him even when he was dropped, his incredible fighting spirit kept him alive. He would be facing an ATG puncher though. I think Trinidad would have a good shot against JJ. He had a very historic run at that weight and was a wrecking bull, with a bit more to his game then Julian. Jackson would also be right down his alley. I think Felix is on par with the likes of Jackson and McCallum at 154, I could see Trinidad stopping Jackson as well. What a fight it would be though, while it lasted.
I was just about to post a Lightweights touney!!!:verysad I think JMM outpoints Ken B, better fighter all round and Alexis stops Manny late and putting on a clinic. Alexis stops JMM mid/ late rounds in the final.
Feel free..... the holiday season has turned me all nocturnal! Another welter tourney...... Shane Mosley vs Meldrick Taylor Miguel Cotto vs Felix Trinidad
