I think both fighters want it, well at least I would like to think so. Both fighters have have gave me doubts though with things their both said. As for their teams I think neither really wants it right now.

Wilder's team accepted their low ball offer for the fight to be in 2018. Hearn sent a contract with no date or venue and then when public pressure was put on, he produced April 2019 as the date.

Wilder traveled to Belfast to confirm a Fight vs Fury with no date or venue announced.

    Just saying.

Yes but they had full control over staging the fight. They would have known for a fact they would be fighting Fury before the year was out. They are the A side. I'm pretty sure they could smell a rat when negotiating with matchroom so wanted to be 100% sure the fight would happen in 2018; something Hearn had no intention to do especially as they would have had AJ signed to fight on DAZN when Hearn signed a deal with them.

I think that it's pretty easy to grasp.

In fairness i think the date was narrowed down to a short 2-3 week period. But as I said both sides have been at the dodge.

They said they accepted it, there's a difference.

Hearn also says they accepted it. He hasn't shut up about it. "The offer is still on the table for Wembley in April. An offer that they previously accepted", was the catchphrase for Eddie for months just there. Yes, Eddie, they accepted the fight for 2018 not 2019, and of course they aren't going to accept the same offer as there value will naturally have went up come April.

Eddie is saying that to suit his own interests.

My point is that there's a difference between saying you'll do something and actually doing it.

On another note, that avatar makes me see you as the wise, great uncle of the forum, and we are all just little kids running around who you are keeping an eye on.

    Don't ask why.

Look at his face for one moment, really look at his face... in that one moment, at a moment of immense turmoil, Gabe Brown had accessed some essential cosmic truth that if could only have communicated it would forever change everyone's conception of the universe and our place within it. Inequality vanquished. Death, illness, famine all but a memory. A new nirvana here on earth. Gabe knew it all in that one moment teetering between despair and fulfillment.

Then Sam Peters smacks him really hard in the face and the moment is gone. Only the image remains as a faint echo of what may have been.
