I am 14 and 0 and many ESB forumites on my resume, you also have no pic, and no video, therefore no significance.

a video? what do you mean esb forumites on your resume? sorry but when I boxed competitively I was more worried about impressing the judges and boxing authorities, not bragging to no-bodies on a forum.

I won the all Irelands and four nations, beat every capable fighter in Ireland and Britain and maybe you can tell me I have no significance.

what is this? a battle of the videos? have you ever stepped into the ring and fought competetively? ever won significant tournaments? medals or titles?

sorry but i thought boxing was about getting in and fighting people, not says "my shadowboxing is faster than your shadowboxing"

let me ask you big mouth, can you hit this fast in a real boxing match?

you watched the video of tyson shadowboxing in front of atlas and copied it until you thought you were impressive enough to emulate it, but you were sadly wrong (crappy attempts at the peek-a-boo upjab btw). show me a video of you in a real fight .

Ah, so a 14-0 fighter who's never stepped into the ring, you've been found out. Not only that, it's plain you have no sense of respect or sportsmanship seeing how you insulted a female boxer and respected gym for no reason whatsoever in another thread. grow up kid, go down to your local boxing gym, ask to spar with the biggest, meanest, best guy they've got, and post THAT video, then I will respect you a bit more, if you're still conscious after 30 seconds.

I've come to the conclusion that you are saying this tongue-in-cheek, or are you seriously that deluded?

You guys just don't learn, do you? If you stop feeding it, it'll find another bridge to crawl under.

As to the thread, Taylor was mostly an arm puncher, and I can't give an arm puncher as much credit as a guy like Jones or Leonard, who put leverage into their punches. Camacho was no puncher, but he put more torque and better technique in his shots than Taylor did, and was a faster fighter all around.

Honestly its pretty hard to separate any of those guys in terms of pure handspeed just by quick observations. You do notice differences in the punch style though.

Taylor punched with the intention of punching fast. He would flurry with short easily repeated punches typically from down low, Leonard did it as well a lot, but he mixed his power up incredibly with his shots.

Camacho and Jones throw much longer. Camacho is probably the fastest for raw speed of hand, Taylor for combination numbers. Jones punches much longer than all three, so its hard to actually compare the hand speed, but i don't think the smaller guys have much of an edge in truth, and i wouldn't be surprised if he was faster than Leonard.

That counter 1-2 from Jones is out of this world. I think he rated highest in terms of speed and power combined, then Leonard.

Yeah sorry, my fault, I realised a little too late, but it was always niggling at me.

I actually blinked before the Jones-Johnson combination and missed it.

 Exactly what I was thinking.

I really just want to talk about pure handspeed. I know that both Leonard and Jones Jr, and even Ray Robinson, combined amazing speed and good power - whereas Camacho and Taylor didn't. But I think if they were all to throw a five combination at the same time, Camacho would be done with his before the others. His speed was out of this world, and I'm not sure it's fair to dismiss his shots as pitter patter, the video clearly shows him getting his opponents respect. I love his entrance music.

Do you think Camacho is underestimated by a lot of fans on ESB, Sweet Pea? At 130lbs, he looked like a beast.
