Nothing you just said meant anything. You attributed imaginary MPH numbers to fighters, then you added punch stats that have to do with how good a fighter is and many other variables that have NOTHING to do with speed.

RJJ is extremely fast, but he's not as fast as PAC.

That's not a hit on RJJ though because RJJ is a MUCH bigger man.

PAC is nothing but fast twich muscle and his hands are much lighter than RJJ's.

I did, and I think Pac is faster.

If anything it comes down to physics.

RJJ is probably the fastest guy to put on gloves from middleweight and up, but he's not the fastest ever.

I suppose you could make a counter arguement and say that gloves and the force necessary to move them is in RJJ's favor because he's stronger, but 8 ounces doesn't make that much of a difference.

Either way, are we talking hand speed with gloves or without gloves?

However!!!!, I do think RJJ's combinations were smoother.

You cant always measure how fast they look on film...I'll give you an example Grant Hill wouldnt be as fast as Mugsy Bougues when on film...But when I see this guy play live...This guy was so fluid that he is a blur.

With Manny..everytime there is a discussion, post fight, pre fight..boxing talk by people from ringside...they Marvel at the speed that he has..every opponent even if they wouldnt give him credit only gives him one prop..its his handspeed..they cannot see them.

PAC for all his imperfections and he has alot...have possibly the fastest left straight ever. You cannot block it even if you've trained 1 year preparing for it...and he doesnt exactly do a good job of setting up that left. He throws it w/o the jab and it finds the target most of the time...

I'll make an analogy...to the greatest defensive Football player of all time Lawrence Taylor...I'm a big fan and remember when they use to devise a whole gameplan around him being lined outside. Teams will prepare nothing but to stop him and they couldnt..you're talking about Joe Gibbs, Tom Landry here.. he gets 4 sacks he was a freak that way

Its the same with PAC his left hand is blinding cannot see it... as for combos many throws them better than PAC but as for 1 punch whos fastest?? PAC is up there in history

100% agreed. When I watched the Pac-MAB1 I have to watch is again in slowmo & I can't believe I'm missing seeing some of the Pac's Punches. Hey Chimba do you agree with me that Pac is faster than Judah???

    Top 3, I'd go with...

    Meldrick Taylor @ 140
    Hector Camacho @ 130
    Roy Jones Jr @ 160/168

Shane Molsey is worth a mention. Early welterweight days when he fought Wise, Rivera, De La Hoya, Diaz, Taylor, and Stone. Not at lightweight. He was quick at lightweight, but not as quick as at 147lbs when he first moved into the division.

Watch Mosley when he first won the title at lightweight against Holliday, then compare his handspeed to those fights mentioned above. You'll be in for a rude awakening.

Mosley was a massive lightweight who struggled with the scales. And being deyhdrated decreases speed. Mosley was physically more suited to welterweight.

Mitch Green had very fast combos, too bad he didn't develop.
