I feel an ESB Epic coming on. Although Jabba the Hutt is a bit of twat he is good for an exclusive so no real point to be honest.
I have no problem with him calling out Haye because he deserves it, but it is the bollox of calling him Ducker and completely letting Wlad off for the **** contracts he gives out and not giving him any negative press when it is clear to everyone that he played a very major part in this fight not coming off on this occasion. And what really pisses me off even more is when he calls Haye out for pulling out of the original Wlad fight, when he and everyone knows that Setanta where about to go under and that was the source of all of Haye's money. What does he expect him to do go into the biggest fight of his career for free. I try asking him about that in his chats but he never answers.
He's just biased. Sure i havent got a problem with him being critical, Doug Fischer is also critical, but nowhere near as bad, calling fighters silly names though, thats just kids stuff, and gives the guy no credibility.
I've said it before, he's a great newshound and nothing more. He is far too biased to be taken seriously.
I heard Haye and Booth approached this fat **** in Vegas once and he SPRINTED (for perhaps the first time since he was about six) across the room and out the door, as though an all-you-can-eat buffet was waiting next door. The fat **** never returned, even though he was supposed to be reporting on a pre-fight weigh in. He just ****ed off home, or to Wendys (or wherever it is those fat American ****s get high).
Rafael is appalling. He'd better hope our paths never cross, I will tear him a new one, even if I do agree Haye has bottled it, he should retain some integrity in his pieces, typical hack.

We don't know who's ducking who do we. But when he puts Wlad up on this pedestal, he doesn't mention that he's fighting a virtual novice next. It's not like Wlad has said 'ok, the Haye fight isn't happening, I'll take Adamek instead'. Instead he's fighting a guy who's previous best opponent is Sam Sexton. Clowns like Rafael who make a living from the sport damage it with every biased, unbalanced article. No-one knows why the fight hasn't happened, you either believe one account or another. It's getting dull now. It's damaging the sport when fights that are not happening make more headlines than the ones that are
I think there's a correlation between the state of boxing and quality of boxing writers. It's no coincidence that as the talent level in the sport has been watered down, so the quality of writers has followed. What would Hugh Mcilvanney make of this oaf?
