Dude, just last year he walked through 10 rounds' worth of flush power punches to the chin from feared heavyweight contender Francesco Pianeta (soon to face Wladimir Klitschko!!!)
He's fighting Solomon Haumono, a 37 year old former rugby league player, who has nothing other than a punch - while McCall has one of the greatest chins of all time, and took a few rounds off Pianeta last time out. Oliver may be old and past his best, but he has enough in the tank to win this.
Not sure it counts, but Ann Wolfe fought an exhibition match on one of her daughter's recent cards, the first time I can remember a mother-daughter combination fighting on the same card.
Haumono managed to crush successful kickboxer turned boxer Kyotaro Fujimoto and take his zero, but enjoyed a massive size advantage in the ring (I'm still not sure I buy them only being twelve lbs apart) and Fujimoto - despite coming off a win over "big name" Chauncy Welliver still had very little experience in the sport and re-acclimating his style. I'm quite sure Olly can take whatever he can dish out, and produce the upset. Hell, I'm not sure he couldn't beat another kiwi rugby player turned pro boxer who's ten years Haumono's junior and with some actual boxing skill to go along with similar power - Sonny Bill Williams. :deal Styles make fights of course, and ABC logic doesn't work - BUT, given how much harder a time McCall gave Pianeta than Francois Botha...and given the fact that Botha got robbed of a knockout victory over SBW... :think
Husband and wife fought on the same card recently somewhere in Latin America (Argentina?). Why don't they just fight each other, they always do it at home... at night...
Bryan Vasquez & Hanna Gabriel, they've done it a bunch of times. Unfortunately this last time he won by KO and she lost by KO. :!:
